After much deliberation we decided that Aruba sounded like the place to vacation this summer. The prices were right and the island is sheltered from the summer hurricane season that the Bahamas and other Caribbean Islands have to deal with. We booked time at the Hyatt Regency which sports several water slides and pools for the kids and a Vegas style casino and lots of bars for the adults. The island appears to be uninhabited on one side with a national park. The island is part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, however most of the tourist come from the eastern US coast.

I am looking forward to the clear, warm waters and sunny days that make Aruba a popular destination.
